The International Institute for Counterterrorism Studies (IICTS) has developed a degree program with all materials included on DVD. The program includes government studies, video programs and audio lectures all on counterterrorism and national security. We are offering this program to only 300 students, who in return for helping us audit and review this material; get a complete Bachelor Degree in Counterterrorism Studies for only $1250 tuition. When the Beta program is complete, and integrated into the traditional program for 2009, the degree program will be increased to $8000 for new students.

IICTS will ask the Beta Test enrolled students for feedback during the course duration (your own pace) and will ask you to develop alternate questions for the course material and also critique the materials. The materials are meant to develop your skills in disseminating information, understanding government policies and how the world deals with terrorism at different levels, both politically and operationally. By assisting us in developing future materials for students, you in return learn the materials more thoroughly and disseminate them and use the information effectively in creating a finished product. Please do not request a curriculum outline as this does not exist... The students help us define the curriculum materials from what we provide.

Please realize this is not the same as our traditional degree program as listed under our Degree Programs page. This program will give you a plethora of raw material, studies, papers, lectures, and other various government documents and we will ask you to utilize the survey questionnaire we supply on the DVD and apply it to each piece of material you review. After you have completed the review of the mandatory number of  materials, the program will be completed. There is also no access to the virtual campus since this program is not set up the same as the traditional program. We are sure you will find all the material very interesting and enjoy the program more than a traditional program. The DVD has all materials on it, there will be no textbooks involved.

If you enroll today, your materials will be sent out via Priority US Mail immediately. It will include one DVD-ROM with all the materials you will require for the degree program, along with an answer CD-ROM to return to us with your work on it.

IICTS is a State Licensed University by the State of New Mexico Department of Higher Education. At the moment, IICTS is not yet regionally accredited. All universities are required to operate for 2-3 years before you are allowed to apply for regional accreditation. IICTS is in its last year and we are preparing our application. Our development of the Beta Degree program is in preparation of this process. The process will take approximately one year. The only admission requirements that IICTS has of its students are that you are over 18 years of age and have either a GED or High School Diploma. By following the payment/enrollment link, you certify that you meet this requirement and will submit proof upon request of the IICTS Registrar.

If you have previous college credit from an accredited institution or you have significant law enforcement training, IICTS will accept these as transfer credits and reduce the amount of courses you must take in the program. The cost of the program will stay the same, but you will be required to do less work.

At the bottom of the page you will see two payment buttons. IICTS uses PayPal for both our protection and yours. One button is for payment in full for the $1250 tuition. If paying the $1250 at once is a hardship, we offer a payment plan of 10 payments of $150 for a total of $1500, which covers a finance charge. Please follow the Payment Plan button for this option. The payment plan will deduct the monthly payment from your credit card or checking account automatically every month.
